Maybelline Hyper Diamonds, and Eyeshadow Quads!

For some reason I just can’t get enough of these mini palettes!

To be completely honest I don’t reach for them all that often but I keep buying new ones!

I’m a total ‘what if’ girl. ‘What if I go travelling and need something small to take?’, ‘What if I accidentally step on all my other eyeshadows and this is all I have left?’ Stupid questions I ask myself to justify buying something I won’t get much use out of. But in reality these are very good quality shadows and I should really be using them more often!

I have to show you a few swatches from Sapphire and Bronze (my Fave – that peach/copper mix is so gorgeous!), these guys are so buttery and soft they blend like a dream and while I have experienced some creasing from a full days wear it is easily rectified with the use of an eyeshadow primer.

Natural Smokes was one of the first makeup purchases I made from my own money (you can tell its been well loved) and definitely set me down the joyous path to makeup obsession, these palettes are great for beginners as they all come with mini tutorials on the back of each explaining each step.

After looking back at all these and taking a trip down memory road I’ll definitely be using them more often I’m sure it will be a time saver rather than digging through a bunch of palettes for the perfect complimenting shades which is my current routine. Half of these were so old that I had ripped the labels off the back and had to google the names – unfortunately exposing a half price maybelline sale at priceline which is where Im off to now – I know I am weak and pathetic please pray for my bank account.
